Petroglyphs: In the nearby mountains we can arrange for private access to some very undisturbed and rarely viewed ancient petroglyphs. There are numerous and well preserved examples of ancient rock art throughout the local mountains and ranch country. Our local guides will take you on short walks to view these rarely seen wonders. The drive there through amazing cactus forests is worth the trip alone.

Native Indian Ruins: In the same area as the petroglyphs there are substantial and mysterious indian ruins from time lost. Little is known about these stone structures, but they are an interesting diversion.

Turquoise Mines: The mountains outside El Rosario are rich with veins of deep blue rock, Turquoise! Have you ever wondered where it comes from, how it looks in the ground, or how it is mined? Well here is a unique chance to see that. Visit an active Turquoise mine, see veins of Turquoise, mining techniques, pick some up off the ground and take it home. Or, for a fraction of what it would cost in the US, buy a few finished pieces.

Hiking: Ed can proivde assistance with getting you on the trail for hiking in this remote and beautiful landscape.
